Or so learned Greg L. Reyes, former CEO of Brocade Communications, earlier today. Reyes was sentenced to 21 months in prison and ordered to pay a $15 million fine, the first public company executive to be tried and convicted of fraud in the stock options accounting dragnet that began three years ago. Apparently it was not so much the mechanics of the backdating that the judge took issue with, but the lying. Read more over at FoundRead.
