Introducing Stacey Higginbotham

Ladies and gentlemen, it is my pleasure to introduce you to Stacey Higginbotham, GigaOM’s newest staff writer. Stacey joined us last week — of all the times to start a job! But anyone who willingly tackles the future of the semiconductor industry as her first post has already passed the sink-or-swim test, don’t you think?

Stacey is going to be our resident finance guru, and will be helping out as a general assignment reporter with all of our sites. She was most recently a technology reporter and blogger at The Deal, after writing for Austin Business Journal, The Bond Buyer and BusinessWeek.

Stacey is based out of Austin, Texas, where she lives with her husband and young daughter. So even though GigaOM now has its very own office (we moved in last week, also amongst all the hubbub about Om’s health), we’ll be continuing our web worker ways.

Please welcome Stacey to our community and look for her stories to come at a fast and furious pace. You can contact her by writing to her first name at gigaom.com
