Construction Delays for Silicon Valley Wi-Fi Network

The problems facing the Muni wireless business, highlighted by EarthLink’s decision to throw in the towel, are spreading. Tyler van Houwelingen, founder and CEO of Azulstar, recently said: “Everybody in this business is going through the same thing.” Azulstar was going to build the much-hyped Silicon Valley Metro Connect Wi-Fi network, but is now backing out because it hasn’t been able to raise funds to fuel its growth. Glenn Fleishman is predicting SVMC is going to be a big disappointment.
