sting at gizmondoLooks like Gizmondo might be in for a big opening weekend in UK. The handheld gaming device plus entertainment center was launched today in London, where 2000 screaming fans greeted the product at Gizmondo flagship store at 175 Regent Street. The store sold out its inventory before the doors closed at the end of the day. B-list celebrities like Pharrell Williams, Dannii Minogue, Verne Troyer, Busta Rhymes and Lennox Lewis popped into the store to get their hands on the device, before heading over to a launch party at Piccadilly’s Park Lane Hotel. The party featured performances from Sting, Jamiroquai, Pharrell Williams, Clipse and Busta Rhymes, comedian Tom Green, and Dannii Minogue. [More photos of the event]
